White Lady Hotel - Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland

The White Lady Hotel has 10 Bedrooms and is very stylishly decorated. We are based close to the town centre in Kinsale, literally 2 minutes away from a world class selection of Bars, Restaurants, Cafes and of course many shops offering local arts and crafts.

Kinsale is well known as the Gourmet centre of Ireland and the White Lady Restaurant is one of the top restaurants in the town, offering a wide range of cuisine from around the world, something to suit all palates. We have Daily Specials and a good selection of homemade deserts.

Kinsale is a centre for tourism, offering Golf, Sightseeing expeditions, Fishing from Boat or shore in addition to some great River and Lake fishing within easy travel.

Kinsale is on the Bandon Estuary, a river reknowned for its Salmon and Sea Trout, the harbour and local bridge also offer excellent Bass, Codling, Whiting, Pollack and Mackerel fishing, in addition to other species. Close by is Garretstown Beach, where excellent specimen Bass are caught every year.

Cobh Harbour, a large inland salt water harbour, close to Cork City, is another historic port, legendary as the last port of call for the Titanic on her ill fated maiden voyage. A short ferry hop across the river Lee from Passage West takes you to Great Island, where in the town of Cobh (pronounced "Cove") is a museum containing a large exhibition on the Titanic and other information on the famous ships and departures from Ireland to the New World and other destinations.

Close to Kinsale are many historic towns, villages and monuments as well as "Blue Flag" standard beaches, very popular with bathers and surfers. The wild Atlantic coastline offers some of the best surfing in Europe as well as a spectacular view.
